SCOTT NANCE | BOARD PRESIDENT
Scott Nance has been on the Albuquerque Christian School Board since 2008. He is currently serving as the President of the Board. Scott and his wife Nikki have three kids, Joshua, Jacob, and Jesse. The two older boys attend ACS, and Jesse is excitedly looking forward to the day when he gets to stay, as well. Scott received his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Mechanical Engineering from Southern Illinois University in Carbondale, Illinois and is an Engineering Project Lead at Sandia National Labs. Scott and Nikki are members at Netherwood Park Church of Christ.

DAN ROWE | BOARD MEMBER
Dan Rowe has been on the Albuquerque Christian School Board of Directors for over 20 years. All four of his children attended ACS, and his wife Shannon volunteered for school projects regularly.
Dan’s background is in Real Estate and Management. He brings fresh ideas and practical solutions to meetings. Dan’s goal on the ACS School Board is to serve God by using sound Christian financial management, and be active in vision planning and goal setting.
Dan’s favorite activity is spending time with his family. You might see him at local sporting events, concerts, car shows, or just chatting on the back porch.

JIM GUTHRIE | TREASURER
Jim Guthrie has served on the Board off and on for several years. The Guthrie family attend Netherwood Church of Christ

KELLY DENISON | BOARD MEMBER
Kelly Denison joined the Albuquerque Christian School board in early 2022.
He is the father of three students at ACS. Kelly has been involved in youth ministry in various capacities since 2001 and currently attends and serves at Sagebrush Community Church in Albuquerque. He started his career as a machinist but has transitioned into owning the company he’s worked for since 1998. He and his wife, Liz, love the school, teachers, faculty and students that they’ve come to know at ACS.

VAL SANCHEZ | BOARD MEMBER
Val Sanchez is a devoted Christian and active member of Calvary Rio Rancho, where she has long participated in Bible Study Fellowship. She and her husband are proud parents of three children and have two nieces who attend ACS. Their family resides on a multi-generational farm, home to a variety of animals including dogs, chickens, a goat, a horse, and a pony.
Val holds a Bachelor of Business Administration with concentrations in Information Systems and Economics from New Mexico State University and is fluent in both English and Spanish. An accomplished baker, she is well known for her cakes, cupcakes, and cookies.
For more than 13 years, Val has been a dedicated supporter of ACS. Her involvement includes over six years of service as a substitute teacher, more than five years of participation in the Parent Teacher Group, and her current role as a member of the ACS Board. Val brings to the school a strong foundation of faith, practical experience, academic expertise, and a deep personal commitment to the continued success of the ACS community.

ADDISON KEELE | BOARD MEMBER
Addison Keele has been on the Albuquerque Christian School Board since 2020. He is married to his wife, Masha, and they have two kids together who attend ACS. Addison and his family are members at Netherwood Park Church of Christ.
Addison's background is in Youth and Family ministry, serving as a minister for Netherwood Park since 2018. He graduated from Harding University in 2013 with a degree in Bible focusing on Missions and later graduating from the Harding School of Theology in 2020 with a Master of Divinity degree. Addison brings a deep theological perspective to the board, a desire to see children and families thriving in both daily life and spiritual growth, and practical experience in family ministry.
Addison enjoys playing soccer and ultimate frisbee, playing the piano, studying Christian apologetics, and exploring tough questions of faith.
